I feel sorry for parents who are legitimately sending their kids here for a Christian education, and the institution is treating their employees like they are Christian church during/from the Inquisition! Since my buddy turned me on to this shit show I have been researching how shitty they are towards their employees.
There are still some employees who have drunk the Kool-Aid and write great reviews on job sites to make Concordia University seem like the greatest place to work at they say all this negative shit then give it four of five stars. WTF?? Even after reading those I know that Concordia University Chicago is still full of shit. But since this is an institution based on faith and doing things the Christian way, which makes it MORE hilarious!

A "horrible place to work" and this is from HR! If there is one department that is the most removed from the daily life of an organization it is Human Resources. Yet the person who posted this, from the Human Resources department of Concordia University Chicago, in River Forest, Il is telling everyone who is looking for a job there to basically look elsewhere.
I would hazard a guess that this dysfunction rolls downhill like diarrhea to even the students and the services they receive. So I can safely say that parents of students (present and future) and the student themselves (present and future should look elsewhere. Why support an organization that treats their employees like shit, you will see enough of that in the professional world, so why support it here?
